MDC honored with 116 WASPI Safety Excellence Awards
We are honored to announce that MDC received 116 Safety Excellence Awards from the Workplace Advocates on Safety in the Philippines, Inc. (WASPI). The awards were presented during the 6th WASPI Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment National Convention and General Assembly held last October 16 – 18, 2024 in Davao City. A total of 40 projects were recognized for its safety achievements, while 76 MDC safety professionals were likewise honored for their commitment to upholding a safe and healthy workplace.
Initiated in 2017, the WASPI Safety Excellence Awards are given to Occupational Safety and Health Standards-compliant companies who have achieved a record of having no disabling injuries or no lost time accidents for a specified period of time.
