Integrated Quality Management System Certifications

On January 8, 2003, MDC became the first construction company in the Philippines to simultaneously receive world class integrated ISO Certifications for the Integrated Management System. To date, MDC and its Subsidiaries have successfully transitioned to the latest ISO 2015 and 2018 versions:

• ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System
• ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System
• ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management System

In March 2022, MDC received the ISO 19650:2018 Parts 1 and 2 certifications for Building Information Modeling (BIM) management standards. The new standard defines the collaborative processes for the effective management system in organization and digitization of information about buildings and civil engineering works from concepts of principles to operational and delivery phase of assets using BIM. MDC is the first construction company in Asia to receive this certification from Bureau Veritas.

In August 2023, MDC became the first company in the Philippines and construction firm in the world to receive the ISO 30414:2018 Certification for Human Resource Management – Guidelines for Internal and External Human Capital Reporting. It is the first International Standard that allows an organization to get a clear view of the actual contribution of its human capital.
