Humble Beginnings

In the 1950s, MDC started as a unit within the Ayala Corporation’s Real Estate Division, which was responsible for developing Makati into the Philippines’ premier Central Business District. MDC was formally established in 1974 and embarked on various land development and infrastructure projects. In 1988, MDC became a subsidiary of leading real estate developer Ayala Land, Inc.

Recognized as one of the Philippines’ most respected construction companies, MDC established a solid reputation and portfolio throughout the years by taking on landmark construction projects including estates, malls, offices, high-rise buildings, infrastructure, roads, industrial plants, and residential communities.

Bright Future

Accelerating its growth, the year 2011 saw MDC transforming into a full-scale Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Construction Management (EPCCM) company. MDC invested in strengthening its people, capabilities, resources, and technologies to take on a growing project pipeline and better serve its customers.
