MDC Contributes to the Shrine of St. Padre Pio’s Historic Elevation to International Shrine

A meaningful milestone for the Catholic faithful in the Philippines was celebrated last September 23, 2026, as the Shrine of St. Padre Pio in Batangas was elevated to International Shrine status — the second in the country.
MDC’s Design, BIM, and Survey sector is honored to have contributed to this milestone through technical and planning services that supported the continuing development of the shrine complex. Since 2021, MDC has provided the following services for the project:

– Survey
– Technical Due Diligence
– Conceptual Master Plan
– Site Development Plan
– Detailed Engineering Design
– Design Guidelines

Beyond these technical outputs, MDC’s involvement in project discussions and meetings, as well as the development of future site plans, became part of the documentation submitted by the St. Padre Pio team in support of its application for International Shrine status.
