Ayala Coop and MDC collaboration enhances safety at Rosario Complex Elementary School

Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative (AMPC) and Makati Development Corporation (MDC) collaborated on a CSR project aimed at addressing safety concerns at Rosario Complex Elementary School in San Pedro, Laguna.

AMPC donated galvanized steel railings/mattings, while MDC provided the necessary workforce resources for their installation along the corridors of the school’s second floor led by Foreman Adrian Magallanes of COG 4. A portion of the proceeds from the last MDC Swap and Sell Party were used to fund this special project.

To express gratitude to the partners and celebrate the success of the initiative, a ceremonial turnover was last May 29, 2024, at the school grounds. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Barangay Chairman Hon. Fred Laurence Vicedo, Ms. Mary Rose Aguilar from the Department of Education, Mr. Jonas Rojo, Head of Membership Engagement and Development at AMPC, Mr. Romeo Tubayan, General Manager of the South Luzon OpCen, Ms. Cha Canonizado, PRSD Manager of COG 1 & COG 4, as well as the school’s principal, teachers, and students.

This partnership exemplifies the importance of community engagement and corporate social responsibility in effecting positive change. It serves as a commitment of both AMPC and MDC to the well-being of the community and the future of its youth.
