Viento Tower 1 wins at the 2023 Philippines Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards
MDC’s Viento Tower 1 Project won the Mid-Rise Structures Category at the 2023 Philippines Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards. Viento Tower 1 was recognized for its innovative use of Design for Modular Construction (DfMC) methodologies and precast products to efficiently and sustainably build the project.
Viento Tower 1 is a mid-rise residential development situated within Alveo’s 6.6-hectare Cerca Alabang estate. With a total construction floor area of 20,252.75 square meters and a total basement construction floor area of 27,506.54 square meters, Viento Tower 1 forms part of a three-tower residential condominium complex that features a central retail area and shared amenities such as function rooms, swimming pools, garden decks, a gym, the grand lawn, and various jogging paths.
Hosted by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Philippines Chapter and Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), the awards program honors projects that inspire excellence in concrete design, construction, innovation, and applications in the Philippines.
