MDC and AC Health ink partnership to support the Working With Cancer Initiative
Makati Development Corporation (MDC) and AC Health have joined forces to champion the global Working With Cancer initiative, a movement dedicated to reshaping workplace culture and empowering employees impacted by cancer. The partnership was launched during a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony last January 14, 2025 where key representatives from MDC and AC Health cemented their respective organization’s dedication to this important cause.
Mr. Robert Baffrey, MDC’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed the organization’s commitment to the initiative. “With this pledge, we aim to create a workplace where every individual, regardless of their health challenges, feels valued, supported, and empowered. We will do this by strengthening our existing health and wellness policies and by implementing initiatives that will prioritize awareness and education, prevention, and employee care.”, he said.
“MDC has long been a trusted partner of AC Health through our Healthway Medical Network. We’re excited to expand this partnership further through the Working With Cancer pledge. With this initiative, MDC is taking another step forward in prioritizing the health and well-being of its employees, ensuring they have access to comprehensive cancer care and a supportive workplace culture.”, said Mr. Paolo Borromeo, President and CEO of AC Health.
MDC and AC Health will take steps to redefine the workplace as a space of empathy and empowerment – paving the way for a community where working with cancer and other illnesses is met with understanding, strength, and hope.
