MDC is the first construction company in the Philippines to simultaneously receive three world-class, integrated ISO certifications for the Integrated Management System:
• ISO 9001:2008
• ISO 14001:2004
• OSHAS 18001:2007
MDC’s three ISO certifications were re-certified for its compliance to Quality Management, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management standards.
Last January 26, 2017, MDC was officially certified as a “AAAA” construction company in the country by the Philippine Contractor’s Accreditation Board (PCAB), an approving body within the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
The "AAAA" status is a license conferred to construction companies that meet high levels of technical expertise and financial capability. The initiative to upgrade its certification comes with the demands to stay competitive within the construction industry amidst the boom in construction projects in the past few years. With over 400 projects and counting, MDC’s commitment to service excellence is grounded on its core execution principle of Safety, Quality, Timely Delivery, Cost Efficiency and Sustainability. The achievement of AAAA status enforces MDC’s standing as one of the leading engineering, procurement, construction and construction management (EPC/CM) companies in the Philippines.
As part of MDC's initiative to build the capabilities of its skilled workers, the company established its Technical Training Center which was recently accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) government agency.
The MDC Technical Training Center offers National Level 2 courses in Carpentry, Masonry, Electrical Installation, Shield Metal Arc Welding, Scaffold Erection, Truck-Mounted Crane Operation, Tower Crane Operation, Transit Mixer Operation and Landscaping.
To date, MDC has eight fully-operational training centers located in Bonifacio Global City, Makati, Las Piñas, Quezon City, Laguna, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo.
